SLECA 2012 Investigator of the Year
Department of Law Enforcement
Special Agent Cook is a crucial member of the FDLE Economic, Violent, and Organized Crime squads and spearheaded an investigation that resulted in three pain management clinics, which were obvious pill mills, being forced to close their doors for good. For his efforts and performance, Special Agent Cook was selected by FDLE as the 2012 Special Agent of the Year and he was honored at a cabinet meeting by Governor Rick Scott and Attorney General Pam Bondi. Special Agent Cook won a Notable Team Cash Award in the 2012 Davis Productivity Awards. He has been a consistent representation of what an FDLE Special Agent should be and has added tremendous value to the service which FDLE provides to our law enforcement partners and citizens.
